BACKGROUND/HISTORY: June Grace Thornton is the youngest child of the Thorntons and the only daughter. Her mother died shortly after giving birth to her, so June never knew her. The youngest girl in a family of boys, June has always been doted upon her older brothers, who all helped raise her in spite of her mother’s absence. As a Thornton, June grew up in a world of wealth and privilege, with the added bonus of her doting brothers and the begrudging affections of her father, who sometimes treats her more like a trophy than an actual daughter.
